We will be accepting requests for those who wish to have their handgun slide milled to accept a red dot optic. All major footprints are available! You can ship it to our shop or stop by and drop it off once production begins. If you would like to get on the waiting list, please CLICK HERE to let me know the model of the handgun and what red dot you plan on mounting. Pricing will be in the range of $130 to $165, depending on how we finish the slide to prevent corrosion on the bare metal left by the cut. Here is a before and after of a Korean War-era M1 Garand stock that came into the shop in rough shape. Full of scratches, gouges, and dents, it was completely black due to being covered with gun oil as well as oil from the shooter's skin. Over time, this oil oxidizes and turns the black you see in the before pictures. We lifted the dents, patched the gouges and deep scratches, and returned the stock to its original beauty. Military rifles are not made from the finest wood available, but there is still beauty even in the most basic piece of wood.
